Gmail is Not Working on my Computer

Gmail Account Fails to Load

If Gmail is slow or fails to load correctly then the users are recommended to use the steps below and fix the problem.
First the user need to check if the browser he or she using is compatible with the Gmail

Then need to check the browser extensions or applications. It so happen that sometimes the installed extensions or add-ons on the browser or applications can prevent Gmail from working. Therefore it is recommended to try temporarily turning off the extensions and applications and then using Gmail again to see if that solves the problem

The user needs to clear browser cache & cookies

Finally check the Gmail labs. If any labs are turned on then the user try to open Gmail by Visiting https://mail.google.com/?labs=0. To disable labs that causing the problem

The user needs to Open Gmail account and click Settings

Then Click the Labs tab and select Disable if any labs have been enabled and click Save Changes

Why Gmail Account Not Opening on Computer ?

If any user receives an error while using Gmail like “Temporary Error” or “Oops” then he or she is advised to seek help to fix the issue.

“No connection”

If the user receive this error then he or she needs –

  • Make sure that the user is connected to the web
  • And then close the app and again reopen it
  • Then try to Sign out and re-sign in

Gmail Temporary Error

If the user receives a prompt of a “Temporary Error (502)” message when he or she tries to sign in to Gmail then the mail is temporarily unavailable and this particular error usually resolves quickly and so the user is recommended to try signing in again after a while.

“Oops” or other error

In case of “Oops (602, 500, 102, 009, 103)” or any other error such as “Bad Request: Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request” then the user need to do the following

First the user need to check if the browser he or she using is compatible with the Gmail

Then need to check the browser extensions or applications. It so happen that sometimes the installed extensions or add-ons on the browser or applications can prevent Gmail from working. Therefore it is recommended to try temporarily turning off the extensions and applications and then using Gmail again to see if that solves the problem. It is advised to try using Gmail without any extensions

  • The user needs to clear browser cache & cookies
  • Finally check the Gmail labs. If any labs are turned on then the user try to open Gmail by
